Mock Interviews.

How I watch mock interviews, then do them myself.

Grinding LeetCode in silence trains you for a test that doesn't exist. Mock interviews are how I practise the actual interview, not just the problems.

Watch them

Watching mock interviews shows you what a strong round actually sounds like:

  • How good candidates handle being stuck.
  • How they take hints.
  • How they structure the first five minutes.

Watching how other people think, where they get stuck, and how they recover taught me more about interview flow than any problem set did.

I run mock interviews with engineers on my YouTube channel, PKodes, if you want somewhere to start.

Then do them

Watching only gets you so far. Then I do it myself: grab a friend, take turns interviewing each other, and practise the real thing out loud.

You'll find gaps that solo practice never shows you.

No friend free? I also use AI as my interviewer.
